Afaik that is a printing error that somehow is still getting printed :). In one of the earlier prototypes of perkons there was a switch there that changed the mod source of the bbd modulation. Not entirely sure how it worked but the mid position was "S1". It seems like they missed the S when removing the print for that switch.

Depends on your setup ;) for my setup it has the perfect amount of channels as explained in the video. However i might add the model 1 for a 10 channel setup eventually for a project I'm working on with a mate. For now the 1.4 is perfect. Cheerio

@@Davemech This is perfect 90% of the time for me also tbh! The only other one is the 96? Whats your comment on that. Im hardware only btw. Sampler which i use a lot, a perkons, a few polys and a mono . Thanks for comments :)

​@@williamwallace650896 is really nice as well. It's quite big though. That's another nice thing about the 1.4: it's really compact for a dj style mixer. But the 96 is also nice. It has a master insert which is great. And the return channels are full featured. I also have a couple of review videos about the 96 on my channel 👍 cheers !

There's a bit of latency through ADAT but it's manageable. It's quite important to check what plugins are used inside push and how much latency they add but most Ableton stock plugins and max4live devices don't add any latency. What I did yo compensate the latency from perkons (or any external hardware) to push through the adat interface is add a track delay (or use align delay) on all tracks that are not external ins of 14ms. Makes it right as can be. For the send/return effects from model 1.4 to push and back I used audio tracks rather than using the return channels in push because that added more latency. Not really. Maybe On a very basic level. Like connecting an LFO to the filter cutoff or an envelope to the pitch of an oscillator (v/o input). It will also generate sound without any patching so you can really just turn it on and start playing.

Haha yeah I get ya. The reason for that is that there were already so many videos showcasing everything from a basic kind of view point. So I just wanted to make a bit of a different and do a bit more high paced video showing what I like about it plus sampling and a jam. I also have slower paced videos. It just depends on what in going for. My courses especially are much slower in the beginning especially. Thanks for watching and I of course appreciate the feedback

Not using the insert routing on the perkons much really. For my usual current setup the individual outputs go to Ableton push and get processed there
